Chester Market to host its first Young Trader Market to nurture future traders

Are you aged 16-30 with a business idea and would like to try market trading?

Chester Market are offering free places to trade at its first Young Trader Market in Exchange Square on 14th June as part of the national competition to find the Young Trader of the Year.

We are looking for aspiring young traders who considering market trading as a way of growing their business – either selling goods, produce or street food.

Young Traders Markets, in association with the National Market Traders Federation (NMTF), provide an opportunity for young entrepreneurs (aged 16 to 30) to showcase their products and skills in a competitive environment, with the goal of nurturing talent and encouraging more young people to consider market trading.

The winners from the Chester market, will be invited to trade at the regional heat in Bolton on Saturday 21st June, with the winners invited to the national final later in the year which will take place in Stratford-upon-Avon.
