We were pleased to welcome Cheshire Police to the market this week as part of Project Servator which aims to disrupt a range of criminal activity in the city centre. We are working with officers to help keep all our customers, traders and staff safe in the market.
Project Servator aims to proactively crime, including terrorism, while providing a reassuring presence for the public. Officers are experienced and specially trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone is planning or preparing to commit an act of crime.
We are also working with Cheshire Police to use the market to train their specialist sniffer dogs Honey and Bodie, after their training was over it was time for a well-earned wash and pampering with their handlers at the Digby & Champ Express stall.
