Chester Zoo have now opened their first retail outlet outside of their home in Upton, their stall occupies a prominent position near the main entrance. The stall offers a wide range of Chester Zoo gift items, as well as animal adoptions and experiences – with all sales supporting the not-for-profit zoo’s charitable efforts to create a future where nature can survive and thrive.
Since its founding in 1931, the zoo has become one of the world’s leading conservation charities. It welcomes around two million visitors a year and pioneers work globally to protect endangered wildlife. Suzanne Keyse, Retail General Manager at Chester, Zoo said: “Just as with our main gift shops at the zoo, all funds generated by the stall will contribute directly to our charitable mission to prevent extinction, supporting vital conservation efforts here in the UK and all around the world.”
